Practice for Biological Dentistry
The Practice for Biological Dentistry warmly welcomes you to our homepage.
Our concept combines selected methods from biological dentistry, environmental dentistry, and classical dentistry. The holistic approach is in the foreground and forms the basis of our treatments. All steps in our treatments are the product of many years of experience and have been optimized with specialists in medicine, dentistry and dental technology.
Due to the increased demand for our concept in the Zurich area, we opened a second location in Winterthur. Please also visit our other homepage of our location in St. Gallen.

Health and long-lasting stability
With our treatment methods, the biocompatibility and health of our patients are always the top priority. Based on this, we thoroughly explain all treatment options and go into detail about the advantages and disadvantages. Together we develop a treatment plan that perfectly covers the needs of our patients.
The treatment techniques, equipment and materials used and selected so that the body is subjected to as little stress as possible. In addition, we pay utmost attention to aesthetics and longevity. True to the motto: Patients are treated the same as how the dentist or their family would be treated.
After treatment, the new condition in the oral cavity should remain as stable as possible – for the rest of life.

For the best result, we choose the most suitable implant-system based on the situation of the jaw bone.
Currently, we use ceramic implants from SDS and Patent.

Dental Treatment under General Anesthesia
In the Practice for Biological Dentistry, dental treatments can also be carrious out under general anesthesia. For dental treatments under general anesthesia, we have a professional and highly-qualified team.
We specialize in patients who are afraid of the dentist and can carry out large restorations without general anesthesia. Especially for patients who have dental anxiety and fear, any kind of dental treatment can be done under general anesthesia.
For more information on general anesthesia and fear of the dentist, we recommend reading the article “General anesthesia at the Dentist”.

State-of-the-art Dental Laboratory
Our practice has a modern in-house dental laboratory, where various ceramic dental prosthesis can be produced. The production can be both digital (via an intraoral scan) and analogue (via classic plaster models).
The practice’s own dental laboratory offers the possibility for patients to receive their high-precision ceramic dental restoration within one session (chairside production).

The maschines in the dental laboratory are from both Dentsply Sirona Inlab and Ceramill from Amann Girrbach. This combination offers an excellent production of precise and high-quality ceramic prosthesis.
Perfectly matched technology allows laboratory-made ceramic fillings to be produced in the same session. This is recommended especially after amalgam removal.
